The Center for Disease Dynamics, Economics & Policy (CDDEP) is a small, non-profit, research organization, but we have an outsized effect in shaping the global response to antibiotic resistance. Our commitment to independent science and policy research helps inform researchers, policymakers and the public of important trends in antibiotic resistance and antibiotic use, worldwide. By keeping a lean staff, and partnering with researchers around the globe, we have been able to keep the problem of antibiotic resistance at the forefront of the global conversation. In fact, CDDEP is considered one of the leading voices on antibiotic resistance worldwide, and relied upon by important institutions as the CDC and the WHO. However, while we are small, we still have ordinary costs like healthcare.
