OHT researchers and collaborators are working on setting up a National Medical Oxygen Grid (NOG), to ensure the supply of high-quality medical oxygen to all parts of a country and help deal with any fluctuations in demand. Besides preparations for emergency situations, the NOG will also ensure the availability of oxygen in non-pandemic scenarios and help manage childhood illnesses like pneumonia.
