Overview
Climate change and air pollution threaten the health of both the planet and the global economy, with workers in low- and middle-income countries disproportionately suffering the consequences. One Health Trust researchers are investigating the effects of pollution and temperature on productivity in the workplace.

The Study
Using workers’ health data and daily pollution, temperature, and productivity measurements from Indian call centers, OHT researchers are studying possible associations between daily fluctuations in environmental conditions and employees’ productivity. The goal is to understand the individual and combined effects of environmental factors on productivity in indoor work environments.
