The Global Antibiotic Resistance Partnership (GARP)–South Africa team held its online kickoff meeting on March 14, 2023.
Since then, the GARP–South Africa technical working group, a partnership between the One Health Trust and University of Cape Town, has been working to identify evidence and policies, with a focus on the role of vaccines in reducing inappropriate antibiotic use and strengthening the country’s AMR response.
