Oluwatosin Ajayi
Dr. Oluwatosin Ajayi is a Senior Research Analyst at the One Health Trust, based in Lagos, Nigeria.
At the One Health Trust, Dr. Ajayi supports low- and middle-income countries in evaluating the implementation of national action plans on antimicrobial resistance (AMR). Her work includes conducting in-country and regional reviews, developing economic evidence for AMR interventions, and contributing to midterm evaluations, situational analyses, and policy briefs in countries such as Angola, Côte d’Ivoire, Kenya, Mozambique, Nepal, South Africa, and Timor-Leste.
Before joining OHT, Dr. Ajayi led research projects on antimicrobial resistance and antibiotic use in healthcare settings, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to address complex public health challenges through a One Health approach.
Dr. Ajayi holds a PhD in Veterinary Medicine and a master’s degree in Public Health and Preventive Medicine from the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta. Her research interests include AMR, infectious diseases, zoonoses, and public health advocacy.
