Anwesha Sharma

Anwesha Sharma is a PhD candidate based in Hyderabad, India, pursuing Data Sciences for Global Health, a program jointly offered by Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, and the One Health Trust.
Before joining the program, Ms. Sharma worked as a research intern at the Indian Council of Social Science Research, Delhi, India.
Her research focuses on understanding the interaction between women’s livelihoods, domestic activities, and their exposure to indoor air pollution (IAP) and heat, with a focus on how these factors impact health outcomes.
Ms. Sharma received a master’s degree in Population Studies from the International Institute for Population Sciences and a bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, India.
Her research interests include public health, environmental health, and women’s health.
