Parinitha Kaza

Dr. Parinitha Kaza is OHT’s Senior Clinical Advisor based in Bangalore, India.
At the One Health Trust, Dr. Kaza’s research focuses on One Health approaches, antimicrobial resistance (AMR), the development of wearable and AI-based diagnostics for AMR, and antimicrobial stewardship.
Before joining the One Health Trust, she was the head of clinical microbiology and hospital infection control at Ramaiah Memorial Hospital in Bangalore.
Dr. Kaza holds a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery, and a Doctor of Medicine degree from the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh, India. She completed a fellowship in General Infectious Diseases from Christian Medical College, Vellore, and holds a diploma in One Health and AMR from Fondation Mérieux and Université of Paris Cité. She has a diploma in Global Health and Humanitarian Diseases from Médecins Sans Frontières.
Her research interests include infectious diseases, One Health, point of care diagnostics, antimicrobial stewardship and AMR, and neglected tropical diseases.
