Devanshi Kanani

Devanshi Kanani is an OHT Research Analyst based in Columbia, Maryland.

At OHT, Kanani studies antibiotic use and resistance at a population level and tracks infectious diseases in the environment.

Before joining OHT, she worked as an analyst and program manager for a sexually transmitted infections clinic. Her capstone research explored beverage consumption among teachers to inform health program interventions.

Devanshi holds a master’s degree in Public Health with a concentration in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from Johns Hopkins University. She also has dual bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Neurobiology & Physiology from the University of Maryland, College Park.

Her research interests include infectious and chronic diseases, nutrition, gender equity, climate, and big data analytics.
