Aditi Sriram
Aditi Sriram is a Senior Research Analyst based in Bangalore, India.
At the One Health Trust, Ms. Sriram’s work is largely focused on addressing antimicrobial resistance (AMR) by enhancing inter-agency coordination, improving data quality, and building public awareness of the AMR challenge. She currently serves as a co-investigator on India Zoo Systems – Strengthening One Health Responses to Zoonotic Diseases, a project that seeks to facilitate India’s efforts to reduce the effects of zoonotic diseases on health, welfare, and livelihoods by better understanding the current mitigation framework, using existing surveillance data to inform policy, and identifying socio-ecological drivers that could affect disease transmission and impact.
Prior to joining the One Health Trust, Ms. Sriram worked as a Public Health Consultant at Affect Mental Health, a venture of the Harvard Innovation Labs, where she analyzed patient data to identify trends in mental health treatment and accessibility. She also served as a Policy Fellow at The New York State (NYS) Division of Budget, Department of Mental Hygiene where she examined the functioning and monitoring of New York State’s residential housing programs for individuals with serious mental illnesses (SMI) and assessed mental health budget trends across different states in the U.S.
Ms. Sriram received a Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology Engineering from the SRM Institute of Science and Technology, India. She then obtained a Master’s degree in Public Health (Community Health) from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
Her research interests include community-based behavior change interventions to improve maternal and child health in low-resource settings, understanding cost and outcomes data from health facilities/ interventions, identifying service gaps at regional and local levels, healthcare financing, and sustainability.
