The One Health Trust seeks an Administration Officer to provide comprehensive administrative, human resources (HR), and operational support. This role is central to the smooth functioning of OHT’s offices and programs and requires close coordination with teams in India and the United States. This is a full-time position based in Bangalore, India.
About This Job
Daily and Ongoing Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day administrative support and assist in the development and implementation of HR initiatives.
- Support financial management processes, including overseeing department budgets, preparing expense reports, and assisting with office budgeting.
- Manage office operations, including identification of technology needs, coordination of equipment, software, and systems maintenance.
- Maintain inventory of office supplies and organize company records.
- Coordinate logistics and administrative workflows across teams.
- Develop, document, and update standard operating procedures related to HR, finance, and administration.
- Provide guidance and support on administrative and management information practices to research and program teams.
- Ensure compliance with required national and state certifications, policies, and guidelines.
- Schedule meetings and manage conference room bookings.
- Support travel planning and event coordination.
- Assist with project fundraising and administrative documentation as required.
- Perform additional administrative duties as assigned, supporting both India and U.S. offices.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business management, or related field.
- Minimum of three years of experience in HR, administrative, or related managerial role
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Experience with payroll processes and financial administration
- Proficiency in spreadsheets and other standard office software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with hiring policies and HR processes
- Professional demeanor with a proactive, solution-oriented approach
Reporting
The Administration Officer will report to the Senior Administration Officer at the One Health Trust.
