Ananya Krishnan

Ms. Ananya Krishnan was a Summer 2025 intern at the One Health Trust. She is a senior undergraduate student majoring in Neuroscience and Behavior at Vassar College, based in Valley Forge, Pennsylvania.

During her internship, Ms. Krishnan synthesized data on infectious disease burden, antimicrobial resistance (AMR), and the role of vaccines in mitigating AMR for OHT’s Global Antibiotic Resistance Partnership in India. She also compiled and analyzed information on National Action Plans for AMR from low- and middle-income countries to support the development of policy briefs for the World Health Organization, collaborating with senior research analysts and fellows to provide data-driven recommendations that align with national and global health priorities.

Ms. Krishnan’s academic background includes coursework in biology, psychology, chemistry, statistics, education, and physics, all completed with laboratory components.

Her research interests include public health, microbiology, and health equity.
