Pratyush Pai

Pratyush Pai is a 2025 intern at OHT and a student at MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, based in Bangalore, India.

During his internship, Pratyush’s work focused on applying artificial intelligence and machine-learning techniques to biomedical signal analysis and developing intelligent diagnostic tools for accessible healthcare.

He contributed to multiple projects, including an AI-assisted triage system (Project-360), ECG abnormality detection, non-invasive potassium prediction from ECG waveforms, and real-time respiration rate estimation from PPG signals. These projects integrated data science, biomedical signal processing, and practical health-tech design, bridging the gap between research feasibility and clinical application.

Pratyush holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology. His research interests include Biomedical AI, Signal Processing & Feature Extraction, Clinical Decision Support Systems, and Explainable Machine Learning.
