Sansita Kumar

Sansita Kumar is a Summer 2025 intern at OHT and a student at the Rutgers University School of Public Health, based in New Jersey, U.S.
During her internship, Ms. Kumar contributed to OHT’s National Medical Oxygen Grid project, where she tracked and monitored the demand, supply, and consumption of medical oxygen across public hospitals in India.
Ms. Kumar holds a bachelor’s degree in Public Health and is currently pursuing her Master of Public Health.
Sansita is a dean’s list student at Rutgers University, and her genetic sequence analysis research conducted at the Waksman Institute of Microbiology, New Jersey, has been published in the National Center for Biotechnology Information GenBank database — read here.
Her research interests include urban public health, vaccine hesitancy, and communicable diseases.
