Ananya Sen
PhD candidate
Ananya Sen is a PhD candidate based in Kolkata, India, pursuing Data Sciences for Global Health, a program jointly offered by BITS Pilani and the One Health Trust.
Before pursuing her PhD, Ms. Sen worked as a research officer at the National Family Health Survey (NFHS)-6, India.
Her research combines, analyzing dietary calorie intake patterns and the affordability of healthy foods to examine barriers to accessing nutritious diets in India.
Ananya received a master’s degree in Statistics from the University of Kalyani, West Bengal, India.
Her research interests include nutrition and public health.
