Swetha Valavarasu
PhD candidate
Ms. Swetha Valavarasu is a PhD candidate based in Pilani, pursuing Data Sciences for Global Health, a program jointly offered by BITS Pilani and the One Health Trust.
Ms. Valavarasu received a master’s degree in Bioinformatics and Biotechnology from the Institute of Bioinformatics and Applied Biotechnology in Bangalore, India; and a bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology, Microbiology, and Chemistry from Dayananda Sagar University in Bangalore.
Her research interests include the prediction and surveillance of antimicrobial resistance in pathogens.
