Rashmi Nayar
Ms. Rashmi Nayar is a PhD candidate based in Hyderabad, India, pursuing Data Sciences for Global Health, a program jointly offered by BITS Pilani and the One Health Trust.
She received a master’s degree in Public Policy from the National Law School of India University in Bangalore, India; and a bachelor of arts with honors in Economics from Christ University in Bangalore.
Before pursuing her PhD, Ms. Nayar worked on public health research projects with the Indian Council of Medical Research-National Centre for Disease Informatics and Research and the Indian School of Business. She also collaborated with the Geographic Insights Lab at the Harvard Center for Population and Development Studies on a study examining small area variations in vaccination coverage.
Her research interests include health economics and policy, environmental health, geographic information systems, and spatial analysis.
