Simran More

Ms. Simran More is a Research Analyst based in Bangalore, India.

At the One Health Trust, she provides research support to projects that assess the burden of antimicrobial resistance in various countries across the globe. She also works on several initiatives by the Global Antibiotic Resistance Partnership (GARP) that focus on controlling the spread of antimicrobial resistance in low- and middle-income countries with the help of policy proposals through collaboration with diverse working groups comprising local experts from academia, non-governmental organizations, and government-run institutions.

Prior to joining OHT, Ms. More worked as a Research Assistant at the Centre for Clinical Microbiology at the University College London, United Kingdom. Her areas of research included antimicrobial resistance, clinical trials in hospital/ventilator-acquired pneumonia, tuberculosis, and next-generation sequencing.

She received a Master’s in Infection and Immunity from the University College London, U.K., and a Bachelor’s in Life Science from Mumbai University, India.
