Shri Lak is a Research Analyst based in Bangalore, India.
At the One Health Trust, Mr. Shri Lak primarily provides research support to the pilot and implementation of the National Medical Oxygen Grid (NMOG). He also provides support to OHT’s other research areas, such as antimicrobial resistance.
Prior to joining the One Health Trust, Mr. Lak worked with the Wildlife Institute of India where he contributed toward the creation of a One Health management report for the Panna Tiger Reserve and Panna district in Madhya Pradesh, India as part of an Integrated Landscape Management Project (ILMP).
He interned in the Department of Public Health at Erasmus University Medical Center in Rotterdam, Netherlands for a Global Burden of Disease project on leprosy and for Hand in Hand India, where he supported their maternal and child health projects in Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu.
Mr. Lak received a Research Master’s in Health Sciences (Public Health Epidemiology) from Erasmus University, Rotterdam, Netherlands, and a Bachelor’s degree in Dental Surgery from the Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R Medical University, India.
His research interests include communicable diseases, tribal health, disease dynamics at the human-wildlife interface, health systems, and implementation research.
