Costanza Conti is an honorary visiting fellow based in Stockholm, Sweden, and Gorakhpur, India.

At the One Health Trust, Dr. Conti’s research focuses on food, climate, and health. She specializes in sustainable food system transformation, developing equitable and context-appropriate solutions that respond to uncertainty.

As a postdoctoral scientist with the EAT-Lancet Commission 2.0, she contributes to global research aimed at transforming the food system to sustainably feed a future population of ten billion.

Her work involves analyzing diverse transformation pathways, considering geographic, socio-economic, and cultural factors, and producing high-quality evidence on topics such as achieving equity and justice, understanding the political economy of transformation, and promoting healthy food consumption.

Previously, Costanza worked for The Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation Agriculture and Global Change Group. She received her PhD in food system transformation from the University of Reading, UK.

Her research interests include food systems, sustainable transformation, socio-eco-technical change, sustainable agriculture, and political economy.
