CDDEP is now the One Health Trust (OHT)

CDDEP is becoming the ONE HEALTH TRUST

We live in an interconnected world: the health and well-being of the environment, animals, and humans are intertwined in ways that are becoming increasingly apparent. Tackling today’s greatest challenges—whether climate change, pandemics, or drug resistance—requires an approach that recognizes these relationships. As part of our growth, the Center for Disease Dynamics, Economics & Policy (CDDEP) is becoming the One Health Trust (OHT).

One Health Trust aims to:

Build on CDDEP’s work
Since 2010, CDDEP has conducted vitally important research on major global health challenges, including antimicrobial resistance, infectious diseases, pandemic preparedness and response, and vaccines. OHT research will also take on issues related to climate change, biodiversity protection, and the effect of changing human diets on the planet.

Conduct actionable research
Our researchers employ a range of expertise—from economics, epidemiology, disease modeling, and ethnographic research to clinical and veterinary medicine, and statistics—to conduct actionable, policy-oriented research.

Engage actively with stakeholders
OHT will reach broader audiences and share in-depth analyses on global health challenges through regular podcasts and webinars, blog posts, and infographics.

Expand our global footprint
OHT has offices in Washington, D.C., and Bangalore, India, with researchers based in North America, Africa, and Asia.
